Department of City Affairs

The Department of City Affairs is charged with the responsibility of connecting Boston University undergraduate community and the Greater Boston community at-large. By establishing rapports with city officials, the Department of City Affairs shall advocate on behalf of students to state and local officials. Through the department’s interaction with Boston’s governing institutions, the department actively relays their services to students, and in turn promotes the University and its potential to serve the city. The Department of City Affairs shall promote civic engagement and political activity on campus, however the integral department of Student Government extends far beyond the campus borders.
